Rabat- Moroccan authorities arrested on Tuesday in Rabat two Femen activist who posed topless in front of Hassan mosque in Rabat.
The two French woman called Esther Marie Delamar et Laurine De Olivera Ferrera, made headlines today after they appeared in a video making out topless in front of Hassan mosque in the country’s capital.
The alleged goal of their act is to support gay rihgts in Morocco and to “abolish homophobic laws and honor the commitment it made during the drafting of its constitution in 2011 to ban and combat discrimination against anyone.”
The two woman, who arrived in Morocco on Monday, were arrested at Rabat-Salé airport as they were preparing to leave the country, according to a communique issued by the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
The two French women will be presented to court, after the conclusion of the investigation. "They will be prosecuted for having shot "obscene sequence, undermining public morality,” according to the same source.
