The mispronunciation of the name of Elkhommri occurred during an interview of the Prime Minister on August 26 on France2 TV, about the diversity of the new government he had just presented.
The appointment of El Khomri adds to the other Moroccan-born Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, who has been appointed Minister of National Education, Higher Education and Research in the newly formed French government.
During the interview, the French Prime Minister said that Myriam El Khomri and Najat Belkacem represent the diversity, the reality and the strength of France.
