Taroudant- Few weeks after the storm of harsh criticism mocking Nabila Benkirane’s Jellaba – a typical Moroccan women dress- that she was wearing at a White House formal reception during the US-Africa Summit held in Washington, Abdelilah Benkirane's spouse defied all critics and appeared next to her husband with a blue Jellaba at the inauguration ceremony of Turkish President-elect Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Nabila Benkirane appeared next to her Husband during the inauguration ceremony held at a mansion in Çankaya, the central metropolitan district of the city of Ankara.
Reacting to the buzz created over he Jellaba, Nabila Benkirane, wife of AbelIlah Benkirane, Head of Government, thanked, via her Facebook account, all those who defended her dress during the ceremony held during the US-Africa Summit in Washington.
While some Facebook users appreciated the way Nabila Benkirane represented the majority of Moroccan women, the lady’s Jellaba did not go without criticism, which ranged from expressions of disapproval of “unfashionable look” of her attire to even mocking expression attacking her in person.
