Today, Morocco World News celebrates its second anniversary. I seize this opportunity to share with our readers my humble experience as a correspondent for MWN.
In a short span of time, Morocco World News has become a school in English Speaking journalism. It has offered me the unprecedented opportunity to report news in English but most importantly it allowed me to be in sync with the latest news and further nurture my passion for writing.
My journey with MWN started with a simple request for a contribution but it has soon turned into a thrilling adventure through the trials and tribulations of journalistic ventures. With MWN, I had the opportunity to explore the journalistic style along with my inclination towards literary writings. I was assisted in each endeavor by Adnane Bennis and Samir Bennis who guided my steps with patience and diligence.
With their ingenuity, their professionalism and their patriotism, Adnane Bennis and Samir Bennis are the driving force of MWN. They have created a positive and propitious environment where each member could develop at their own pace.
I have become incrementally interested in politics and economy after a training sponsored by the Guardian Foundation in the British metropolis London. I remain thankful to MWN for offering me the opportunity to broaden my horizons and to polish my writing style.
I must say that MWN editorial board has always offered its reporters the opportunity to express their opinion without any censorship and with a maximized objectivity. It is not a coincidence that MWN is gaining more acclaim among readers worldwide.
That said I need to mention that MWN team has endorsed professionalism as its governing principle. All the correspondents are concerned with the authenticity of the news published and the reliability of their sources.
Thus, MWN has been a pioneer in the publishing of many media scoops. It is noteworthy also that MWN stands out as a staunch advocate for Morocco’s territorial integrity through its coverage of Sahara issues and of groundbreaking investigations. Being part of MWN was a turning point in my career. I hope that MWN will keep the same cadence and keep the readers well informed.
