Rabat- The price of premium gasoline and fuel oil # 2 " are no longer subsidized by the Compensation Fund products," said Friday the Ministry of General Affairs according to MAP.
These prices are revised on the 1st and 16th of each month, in accordance with the pricing structure published by the Ministry of Energy , Mines , Water and Environment, the ministry said in a communiqué.
According to the same source, the government will continue, through the Compensation Fund, to subsidize diesel, the butane gas, special fuel for the production of electricity by the national Office of Electricity and Drinking Water, sugar, certain products destined to Saharan provinces, as well as domestic wheat flour.
Last September, the government decided to implement the indexation measure, which links gas prices in Morocco with any increase or decrease in the international market.
