Rabat- Two young Moroccans, Mustapha Mokass, Founder of Climate and Poverty Innovations, and Abdelmalek Alaoui, CEO of Global Intelligence Partners, joined the prestigious community of "Young Global Leaders 2015" (YGL).
Of the 187 Young Global Leaders worldwide, representing 66 countries from the public and private sector, 16 are from Middle East and North Africa, and three are from North Africa.
The two Moroccan leaders, along with Tunisian Lina Mhenni, Professor of Linguistics at the University of Tunis, are the only young leaders selected from North Africa.
Young Global Leaders are people under 40 selected by the World Economic Forum (WEF) based on their achievements and contribution to society, and for their commitment to shaping the future of the world.
A selection committee chaired by Queen Rania of Jordan selected the 187 Young Global Leaders Class of 2015 after screening over 2,000 candidates.
