Rabat - A press release issued by the Moroccan Foreign Ministry says that Moroccan chief diplomat is willing to attend the Paris march in solidarity with Charlie Hebdo provided that caricatures mocking the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are not used.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation announced that Salaheddine Mezouar, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, will represent Morocco in the march to be held on Sunday in Paris, in the wake of the terrorist attacks on France.
The Ministry said in a press release, that in "an expression of solidarity with the French people in the wake of the cowardly terrorist attacks, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will represent the Kingdom of Morocco in the march to be held on Sunday in Paris."
The Ministry stressed that neither the Foreign Minister nor other Moroccan official will participate in the march if caricatures mocking the prophet Mohammed are used.
