Casablanca - The President of the African Confederation of Football (CAF) Issa Hayatou arrived Sunday night in Casablanca along with a delegation of CAF’s executive committee to discuss Morocco’s request to postpone the 2015 African Cup of Nations.
"Mr Hayatou will held Monday in Rabat a meeting with Moroccan officials to make a decision on the date of the next African Cup of Nations that Morocco had asked to postpone to June 2015 or January 2016", Mohamed Boudrika, the vice-president of Morocco’s football association (FRMF) told journalists.
Morocco asked CAF to postpone the tournament, slated for January to February 2015, over Ebola fears.
