Rabat- The Italian airline Alitalia is to launch a Rome-Marrakech route on September 3rd, the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) said Wednesday.
The new connection will be operational twice a week, the Office said in a statement, noting that the Italian airline is adding a second airport in Morocco after Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport, where it serves 12 flights a week.
The inauguration of this new route is part of the ONMT three-year strategy aiming at developing air traffic to Moroccan tourist destinations, the statement added.
