Rabat- A Casablanca police officer used his weapon while trying to deter three thugs armed with knives from taking the belongings of two citizens on Monday, according to Assabah newspaper.
The police officer shot three bullets in the air in order to intimidate the thugs who were riding a motorcycle. But the police officer’s attempts was to no bail.
The thugs started to threaten the police officer with a knife, which forced him to shoot extra bullets, one of which ended up piercing the leg of one of the thugs.
The same source added that the other two continued threatening the police officer with their knives until one of them managed to board the injured on the motorcycle and fled the scene.
