Washington - Morocco has always urged for the respect of the unity, the sovereignty and the security of Libya and called for the cessation of violence, said minister-delegate of Foreign affairs and cooperation, Mbarka Bouaida.
The Kingdom also called on all political actors to resolve their differences through dialogue, stressed Bouaida who was speaking during a meeting on the security situation in Libya with the foreign ministers of the Maghreb countries and the US assistant Secretary of State for near eastern affairs, Anne Patterson.
The minister-delegate recalled Morocco's support for the Libyan people, underlining the need to preserve national unity and territorial integrity of Libya
Bouaida also reiterated the Kingdom’s readiness and commitment to provide assistance and share its experience with Libya in order to support its efforts in restoring security and strengthening transitional justice and the rule of law.
