Rabat - The inflation rate in Morocco is projected to average 1.8% in 2014, according to the latest estimates released by Bank Al Maghrib.
The inflation rate in Morocco is projected to average 1.8% in 2014, Bank Al Maghrib, Morocco’s central bank, announced Tuesday according to Maghreb Arab Press.
According to the same source, these estimates take into account the decisions made by the Government in connection with indexing the prices of certain oil-related products.
The Council of the Central Bank took note of inflation projections, which forecast a rate of 1.8 % in 2014 and 2.3% at the end of the second quarter of 2015, with an average of 2% throughout the forecast period, Bank Al Maghrib said in a statement.
